About the role
We're looking for a Community Manager to own and grow our Discord and Telegram communities. You'll be the heartbeat of the TradeIt community — moderating, engaging, creating content, and making sure every trader feels welcome and informed.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the TradeIt Discord and Telegram communities day-to-day
- Moderate discussions and enforce community guidelines
- Create engaging content: announcements, AMA events, trading competitions coverage
- Respond to community questions, feedback, and support requests
- Plan and execute community events, contests, and engagement initiatives
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and announcements
- Track community growth metrics and report insights to the team
Requirements
- 2+ years experience managing crypto or gaming communities
- Deep understanding of Discord: roles, bots, channel structure, moderation
- Excellent written communication — you can be professional, friendly, and clear
- Ability to handle difficult community situations with empathy and composure
- Strong understanding of DeFi and crypto trading culture
Nice to have
- Experience with community analytics tools
- Background as a trader or DeFi user yourself
- Experience with community tooling like Collab.Land, Guild.xyz
