Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the TradeIt protocol, website, or any associated services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TradeIt. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

The Service is not available to residents of the United States, or any jurisdiction where the use of decentralized trading protocols is prohibited or restricted by law. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

By using the Service, you represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country subject to economic sanctions or trade restrictions.

Description of Service

TradeIt is a crypto trading competition platform with on-chain components deployed on Base. Competition registration, entry fees, and prize distribution are governed by smart contracts. Leaderboards, trade execution, and order management are handled by TradeIt's backend infrastructure.

TradeIt provides a user interface to interact with both the on-chain protocol and the platform. TradeIt does not act as a custodian, broker, exchange, or financial adviser.

Risks

Trading digital assets involves significant risk of loss. You should never participate in competitions with funds you cannot afford to lose. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

Smart contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities. While the TradeIt smart contracts have been audited, no audit can guarantee the absence of all vulnerabilities. Use the Service at your own risk.

Blockchain networks and our backend infrastructure may experience congestion, downtime, or other issues beyond our control that could affect the operation of the platform.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to manipulate competition results through wash trading, collusion, or other fraudulent means; (c) attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in the smart contracts; (d) use automated bots or scripts to gain an unfair advantage unless explicitly permitted.

Any attempt to circumvent these restrictions may result in permanent exclusion from the Service and may be reported to relevant authorities.

Intellectual Property

The TradeIt name, logo, website, and associated branding are the intellectual property of TradeIt. You may not use these without express written permission.

The TradeIt Protocol smart contracts are open-source and available under their respective licenses. The front-end interface and related software remain the property of TradeIt.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TRADEIT EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TRADEIT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS OR DIGITAL ASSETS.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
