Social Media & Marketing Specialist

About the role

We need a creative, data-driven Social Media & Marketing Specialist to build and grow TradeIt's presence across X, TikTok, and Instagram. You'll create content, run campaigns, and be responsible for turning followers into active traders on our platform.

Responsibilities

• Own TradeIt's social media presence on X (Twitter), TikTok, and Instagram
• Create compelling content: threads, short-form video, graphics, and copy
• Develop and execute paid and organic growth campaigns
• Track and report on key metrics: follower growth, engagement, CTR, conversions
• Coordinate with the community team on cross-channel campaigns
• Identify trends and opportunities in the crypto/DeFi space to newsjack
• Manage relationships with content creators and influencers

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in social media marketing, ideally in crypto or fintech
• Strong content creation skills — writing, basic design, video editing
• Data-driven mindset — you make decisions based on metrics
• Deep understanding of what resonates with crypto-native audiences
• Experience running paid social campaigns (X Ads, TikTok Ads)

Nice to have

• Existing crypto/DeFi Twitter/X presence
• Experience with design tools (Figma, Canva, Adobe)
• Video editing skills for short-form content
• Background in trader or DeFi communities
